Our Leadership

Julie Mawazini

CEO

Julie Mawazini is the president and owner of Basic ITS. Under Julie’s guidance and leadership, Basic ITS expanded its operations in 2020 to a new facility in East Peoria, Illinois, creating dozens of jobs for area professionals during the height of the global pandemic. In addition, she has developed multiple partnerships with national and international companies to bring cutting-edge technology to Basic ITS’ central Illinois clients.

Julie is also an active supporter of numerous non-profit and service organizations throughout central Illinois, including but not limited to the OSF HealthCare Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Illinois, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and EP!C. She currently serves as a member for the Germantown Hills Zoning Board of Appeals and the Germantown Hills School Citizens’ Advisory Council.
