Employment Opportunities at Basic ITS

Basic ITS is always on the lookout for good talent in a number of areas.  Although we have no specific job openings at this time we encourage you to send us a resume and then follow up with us.  We are accepting applications in the following areas:

Printer/Server/Computer Repair - we are looking for at least 3 - 5 years of experience repairing printers/servers and computers with a solid track record of customer service.  Applicants should have at least A+ certification

Network Administrators and Network Assistants - Basic Responsibilities include planning, set up, installation, configuration, maintenance, operation, repair, security, and administration of the network, including voice, data, and video services.  Qualifications:

1. At least two years of college or graduation from a two-year technical college

    with an Associate’s degree.

2. In-depth understanding of the exact physical configuration of both local area

    networks and wide area networks.

3. Familiarity with fiber optic networks, wireless and wiring closets, including set

    up and capabilities of all communications and distribution equipment therein.

4. Understands the language of all supported protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.) and

     is familiar with routers, hubs, switches and similar components of the

     technology infrastructure.

5. Working knowledge of Windows XP, Vista , MAC OS X, Microsoft Office, and

     digital technologies (Smart Boards, document cameras, etc.)

6. Experience in the maintenance of telecommunications equipment.

7. Capable of using sophisticated hardware and software to diagnose network problems.

8. Ability to troubleshoot server hardware down to the board/module/replaceable

    unit level.

9. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.

10. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a

      collaborative environment.
